First off, I added one new drawing to the Drawings page! It's of my good friend Kayleigh. I actually started the drawing many, many months ago, but my chronic laziness didn't allow me to finish it until very recently. o_O; Sorry I took so long to complete it, Kay'! @_@;
Next, there's one new deliciously disturbing piece up on the Poems page! Short but sweet? Definitely --- If you're a psychotic freak! ^_~
Oh, and hey! Thanks to my fondness of trolling n00bs, there's one new Witless WLM Conversation for you guys to LOL at.
In less LOLish update news, I recently made the decision to delete mallorymaloney.com's Sisters page, as the very concept of 'sister sites' seems to have died. ;_; It's all about doing a blogroll now, apparently. e_e However! I moved all of my old sisters onto my Affiliates page, so no one was lost in the process. ^^
I added two new sites to the Listed At page --- If you're bored and wanna surf some random sites, go check out The Glitter Web Directory and Electro Listings! ((Major lulz at Glitter for suddenly accepting mallorymaloney.com, BTW. I tried to apply on several different occasions years ago, but they always ignored my applications. Know why? ;She smirks in a satirical manner.; Because my site wasn't validated back then, of course!))
I also updated the Facts page slightly, by adding a few more of my favourite foods and books; The Contact page, with a link to my Twitter account; Movies I Must See, with a couple of new movies I'm dying to watch; And Family's Funny Quotes, with two new bits of quoteage added.
But let's ditch Updateville and head on over to Blogland, shall we? We shall!
Our top story tonight: Taking off your shirt the way they do on TV and in the movies actually works! O_O You know what I mean; That whole crossing your right arm to the left side, crossing your left arm to the right side, grasping the hem of the shirt you're wearing with both hands and then pulling upwards over your head thing? Yeah, it works magnificently.
Never tried it until a couple of days ago, but you can bet I'll use this shirt removing method more often! It doesn't stretch the fabric of the shirt at all, for example. However, on the downside, the shirt will brush against your face an exceptional amount, so oily complexioned people beware.
... Oh, for fuck's sake. -_-; I just realised I sound like I'm flirting with my readers in an extremely nerdy way. Ignore any flirtatious vibes you might have received --- I didn't realise it sounded sexful until I read it over a second time myself. e_e;

As you might expect, weeks ago I preordered Green Day's new album, 21st Century Breakdown ... And guess what?! I got it one day earlier than the official release date, on 14 May as opposed to 15 May! I popped the CD into Skelly's F: drive and immediately fell in love with all of the new material. @_@;
Well ... Almost all. I wasn't very fond of the fact that there was quite a few 'slower' songs on the album, but thankfully there's eighteen tracks in total, so I'm not too deprived of my much loved 'fast' songs, haha. ^^;
I have a few other complaints about the album, such as; 'Why do a huge majority of the songs begin with a 'badly tuned radio' sound effect?' and, 'I love the idea of concept albums, but why two concept albums in a row? Why not another 'random' album like the good old days?' and, 'Why do so many songs start with one specific sound, and then suddenly break into an entirely different sound midway through?', and 'Why do many of the songs on 21st Century Breakdown vaguely sound like other Green Day/The Network/The Foxboro Hot Tubs/other random band's songs?'
Although a lot of those complaints are a bit of a mixed bag, especially the last one, considering I actually found it über exciting when I noticed that ¿Viva La Gloria? ((Little Girl)) sounds an awful lot like Misery, a track from Green Day's album Warning ... Or when I noticed that Murder City sounds a lot like several different My Chemical Romance songs ... Or the fact that Restless Heart Syndrome sounds like something Queen would write near the beginning, and then like Papa Roach's song Hollywood Whore closer to the end ... Or that American Eulogy's second half, Modern World, ((When Mike Dirnt starts singing,)) Sounds a little bit like the Descendents' song 'Merican ... Or that Horseshoes And Handgrenades sounds a little like The Foxboro Hot Tubs's Stop Drop And Roll!
So yes, minimal complaints aside, ((Not even sure why I'm listing them, aside from the fact it's always easier to complain about things than to give praise,)) I'm definitely in love with 21st Century Breakdown. *_* If you're a fellow Green Day fan, you better've bought the album already, man. If you haven't, then I have only one thing to say: What the fuck's wrong with you?!
Hell, even if you're not a Green Day fan, at least give the tracks a courtesy listen --- You might be pleasantly surprised, you never know! ^^
Continuing on the same vein, I'm pretty sure I've decided what I'm going to wear to the 16 July 2009 Green Day concert! Vief inspired me with her comment on my last Updates/Blog entry, in which she said '... I always pictured Green Day as a band to wear green to ...' As soon as I read that, a lightbulb appeared above my head. I could switch the imagined red plaid skirt to a green plaid skirt, and the red and black striped socks to green and black striped socks, and then work loads of other green/black clothing pieces and accessories into the mix. *^^* Brilliance --- And rather unique brilliance, at that! ((Thanks for the idea, Vief, I owe 'ya, haha. ^u^))
Onto another subject --- Cakes! Delicious cakes. On mallorymaloney.com, the cake is never a lie, and it's always a piece of cake to bake a pretty one.
... Needs moar cake memes. o_o
I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I won't put you guys through the torture of reading any more overused Internet based phrases involving cake, I promise. I will, however, show off some photos of the birthday cakes I made recently! First up, the cake for my brother Riley's seventh birthday, which was made to look an old school Game Boy, a favourite toy of his. *^^*
Next is the cake I made for my Mum's birthday, which was a Devil's Food cake with French chocolate icing, along with crushed Skor bars and maraschino cherries on top. *_* And yes, that's my Mum blowing out her candles, haha! ^^;
And lastly, the cake I made for my Dad's birthday --- Decorated with a large Starfleet Command insignia, the same insignia Captain Kirk wears, in the Star Trek original series. ^_~ ((Obviously, my Dad's a huge Star Trek fan, haha.))
Three cheers for my awesome cake skills! ^x^ I know it looks kinda difficult, but it's not all that hard ... Just a little time consuming. The trick is to simply never use a messy recipe, as the cake will turn out crazy --- You gotta do the cooking by the book, you know you can't be lazy! ^^
... What? What's the matter? o_o Hey, don't look at me like that! You guys know I'm not very good at keeping promises ... It's not my fault you're all so gullible! =_=
Oh, how I delight myself.
One last thing! I've been meaning to blog about this for ages, but it kept slipping my mind. @_@; It's about a demo for a single player RPG called Night Life, and yours awesomely is featured in it! That's right, Mallory Maloney is famous enough to be a major character in an animated online game. ^_^
Okay, fine, I'm stretching the truth a tad. >_>; In all actuality, my younger brother Cameron is the creator of Night Life, and I asked him if I could be featured as a character in the demo, LOL. ^^; It was Cameron's idea that I could be a main character though, in both the demo and the yet to be completed game!

I almost vomited at what you wrote about me on your drawings page, but it was in a good way. I feel really loved all of a sudden, so I'm glad I came on here cause -- if you've been reading SGL Private -- you will know about the fact I'm still in lurrrve with Blondie and how annoying it's getting. But thank you; I do love that drawing! And if I ever get famous enough to have a fanpage (I'm thinking of doing one soon as I have lots of signs), the drawing will be straight on there!
Yeah, that taking-shirt-off thing is the best method, although -- because I'm such a clumsy oaf -- I always end up getting stuck and walking into things. This is because I get dressed whilst doing other things at the same time. I've been known to put a shirt on and eat a slice of toast, all at once. It was quite an amazing feat, but I managed to get toast in my hair for reasons unknown X__X Moving on also!
I know what is wrong with me concerning the Green Day album -- I haven't got the money to buy it. I'm skint, as per usual, but my Mutti will definitely buy it. So I'll let her listen to it a few thousand times (she will manage that in four days) then I'll hawk it from her and she'll never see it again. I don't know what I'm wearing to the O2 when I see Green Day, but I have until October to figure it out, so it's all good XD!!

I would just like to point out, a reason why people wouldn't be picking up Green Day's new medicore album :P, is because there to busy trying to find a copy of RELAPSE!, you have some pretty awesome cake skills (but why mention it if you already know xD). Hahaha! You never tried taking your shirt off like that before? I was taught to take them off that way. But instead I became such a rebel & took my shirt off the non-tv way by pulling my left shirt sleeve wide open and sliding my left arm back. Then I take my left hand, extend the sleeve of my right arm & pull my right arm through. Rebellious, huh? :D

Those are some sweet looking cakes! You are really good. I've only tried to make a cake a couple of times, and they turned out lopsided and the frosting just thrown on.
I never really thought about Green Day, and how it would be cool if they worn green. Makes sense though.
The house is kind of on the small side, with only one bedroom. It sort of looks like a bigger version of a cabin. But it's in good shape, and its kind of in the country, with a river behind it and a great backyard. I'm allowed to get a new puppy to bring along with me as well. I am soooooo excited. I find out tomorrow if I get it. Trying to talk my boyfriend into letting me get a rabbit as soon as we move in. Cause I've wanted one for years but Mom wouldn't let me cause we live in town and she said it wouldn't be fair to the rabbit. I love animals =)
When the girl first commented on my site, I visited hers and did the exact same thing. I exited and ran away. But then I found out she had a domain contest, so I checked that out. There is no doubt that she's only trying to bring in more visitors and comments. But hey, if I get a free domain out of it, then good for me I guess.
I've commented on almost every blog of hers; except the 5 or 6 that just ramble on about God and how great he is .. blah blah blah.
Only us cool kids can stay on the webscene for so long. ;)

I think my domain at time was either sayhellodear.com or er, mysticxshadows or something. Most likely sayhellodear, but I wouldn't expect anyone to remember it as I was terribly depressed and mopey and kinda blah-ish then. But! I did post scenes from AFOT quite randomly. :)

Um holy cute cakes... I love the one that you made for your mom! It looks delicious-- mm...cake.... I wish I could become a better baker, I sort of fail in the kitchen. Luckily, I have a boyfriend who is a fantastic chef (baker, not so much...).

One other thing that bothers me about the way they do things on TV is how they make grocery bags look with the carrot greenery hanging out, the big Italian loaf of bread and a bouquet of flowers. I know my grocery bags NEVER look like that!! I don't know- I'm weird- it bothers me!

I work at a Super Kmart. It's a whole ton of fun. :P Haha, one time a woman actually offered me one of the donuts she had just bought! I totally would have taken her up on the offer, but I'm not entirely sure how the higher-ups would have felt about me eating at my register. ^^;

Oddly enough, Dr. Nugent is the ONE (out of hundreds) doctor that I've liked. Most doctors are just terrible and before I met Dr. Nugent, I heard that terrible line "It's all in your head" countless amounts of time. So I feel ya. :/
And yeah, the nine month period included PMS and cramps. It wasn't so bad... I mean, it could have definitely been worse!
