Edit: Apologies to all of mallorymaloney.com's visitors for the lack of updateage/contact on my part lately! X_X; I promise I'll reply to all of your eMails, and post a new Update/Blog after Halloween --- I've been busy as fuck with preparations, and I haven't had time to be online much. ;_; So sit tight, my lovelies ... And happy early Halloween! *^^*

Just one smallish update today, my psychotic children ... One new page in the Photography section, entitled Burning Sky. It's definitely worth a click, trust me! ^_~

And OMG. Guess what, you cattleprod lovin' nimrods --- It's only five days until Halloween! O_O;

Five days!

Five days to finish decorating your homes. Five days to finish putting together your costumes. Five days to finish buying candy and/or trinkets to hand out to trick or treaters. Five days to bake a batch of orange and black pinwheel sugar cookies. ((As if you'll need any more treats!)) Five days to finish carving the pumpkins. Five days, five days, five days to go --- W00tage! ^o^

In case you can't tell --- I fuckin' love Halloween! I love it more than Christmas and my birthday combined, in fact. It's a huge deal for me, and for my family, as well. Obviously, this isn't the case for everyone, though ... And if you don't celebrate/like Halloween yourself, ((For whatever reason,)) I apologise in advance, because this blog's going to be primarily Halloween based. x_o; Don't say I didn't warn 'ya! >w<;

Okay, so first off --- The photographs I promised you guys in the previous entry! Behold ... The Maloney house in all of its Halloweened glory!
First, we begin with the outside. O_O Note the highly terrifying ghost made out of an old white sheet I noted in mallorymaloney.com's last blog ...! Let's take a closer look, though, shall we? ;She grabs the visitor's hand, dragging them nearer.;
Check it out! It's a vampire batted, yellow crime scene taped, orange bowed, black and orange lighted front porch of awesome! *_* Oh, oh, oh, and look at the other side! ;She places her hands on either side of the visitor's face, forcing them to look to the left.;
Look at that bad ass headstone right there! Look at that bad ass headstone. And there's that scream inducing ghost madeoutofawhitesheet again ... Also observe the bootiful ghost adorned banner flags! ((Bootiful ... LOL, I simply amaze myself sometimes!)) Oh, but hang on, you gotta see this closer ... ;She grabs the visitor's shirt collar and drags them onto the porch.;
Do you see. That motherfucking giant pumpking. Yes, pumpking, because this motherfucker is clearly the king of all other pumpkins. All of them. My younger brother Cameron won a contest at a local grocery store --- Where you had to guess the weight of the pumpking --- To win a $20.00 gift certificate. And Cameron won, with his guesstimate of one hundred and forty three pounds! As a bonus, the grocery store also let us bring the pumpking home, since they had no more use for it! ((In my opinion, the pumpking itself would've been prize enough, LOL. Who cares about twenty bucks when you could own that motherfucker?!)) But let's go inside the house now, it's fucking freezing out here! @_@;
Here's the inner front door! Quickly note the folk artish wooden Halloween hangy things, and then close the door behind you --- You're letting all the heat out, you fuckin' numbnuts. -_-;
Isn't this simply the best table you have ever laid your graced peepers on?! Oh, make no mistake. It is. It is simply the best table you have ever laid your peepers on. ((I enjoy saying 'graced peepers' very much.)) Your peepers have been graced by this wonderfully decorated table. But moving on ... ;She yanks the visitor to the right.; Look over at the fireplace! O_O
Isn't that just a gorgeous sight?! Five yet to be carved pumpkins, ((Which I'll post photos of when they're finished, no worries!)) Orange and black streamers, a shiny banner that proclaims, 'Happy Halloween', scarecrows, a spider and web covered candelabra ... And look, even the family computer is decorated, LOL. ((Windows XP 3D Text screensaver reading 'Happy Halloween!' FTW.)) Oh, and look at that hanging lamp to the left ---
It's covered in spiders and their webs, too! As well as bats that somehow got tangled up where they don't belong. o_O; And ... The normally white light bulb has been replaced with an awesome blacklight! ^o^
Oh, and look over here by the stairs! ((Ignore my brother Cameron's temporarily stationed/also Halloween screensavered computer --- It's brand new, and we were formatting it to remove Vista. Because, well, as much as I love and support Microsoft, I have to admit that Vista kinda sucks dick. x_x)) Another candelabra, more pumpkins, a chubby witch, and the banister is wrapped in the embrace of hundreds of tiny ghosts! O_O And, last but not least ...
Clearly, this gigantic, glittery, black spider has awesomated the doorway's arch for me. He did a pretty lovely job, wouldn't you agree? ^_~

All modesty aside, I'd say I did a pretty lovely job, as well! I fucking better have --- All that shit took me two days to do ... And, of course, I didn't bother to take shots of everything --- You guys just saw the best of it! Because if I had to include a photo of every single decorated aspect, well ... Frankly, it'd be another 13 October 2008 sized entry. >_>;

And that'd be the scariest part of every visitor's Halloween, I imagine! O_O; It'd probably be like ...

'Wh ... What is this? M ... Mallory, WTF have you done?! WTF --- WTF is this! Oh my --- Oh my God!' ;Barely contained screams can be heard.; 'Oh my God, oh my God, oh my fucking God --- You know we're not able to read more than a couple of paragraphs in one sitting!' ;Insert terrified sobbing here.;

Yeah. o_o

Speaking of barely contained screams and terrified sobbing --- My younger brother Cameron and I went to saw Saw V the other day, on 24 October. ((The opening date!)) The first showing was at 1:30 PM, so that's the one we chose to see, ((Obviously,)) And dude, my brother and I were the only ones in the whole goddamn theatre --- Save five other movie goers. Five, that's it! On one hand it was sweet as fuck, because, hello? We were two out of seven people to see it first in the entire city!

But on the other hand, it was a little disappointing, because it's always more fun to see a movie if the theatre's at least half full ... And besides that, High School Motherfucking Musical Three was playing as well, and the line to get into that was massive --- And consisted entirely of six to ten year olds and their mothers.

That's one packed theatre that would not be fun to sit in.

... Unless, of course, you were also a snotty, squealing, spoiled rotten ten year old as well.

But anyway, back to Saw V, I'm not going to say anything about the plot --- I wouldn't want to spoil it for any other fans who might not have had the chance to see it yet --- But I will say this. It. Was. Sawesome. *_* Granted, it was very different from the first four instalments, and granted, it wasn't quite as sawesome as the others ... But still, it was definitely worth the $23.00 and change I had to pay for the tickets and popcorn. Lots of bloody, gory, cringe worthy fun! ^x^

And on that gruesome note, I'm off ... Those pumpkins ain't gonna carve themselves. ^^;

    I celebrate halloween but we don't have any decorations to put up... apart from silly paper stringy things that broke -_-

    And about High School Musical 3, I went to see it today with my 6 year old sister... I came home with a sore head because all the little people (ie. the whole cinema) squealed whenever Troy came on the screen... which was like every five seconds ¬_¬

    Also, this is reeeeeeeeeally embarrasing to admit... but the movie was actually quite .. good... >_<;; *hides*

  11. I know I should find a new job, but I can't is the problem. I tried for a whole entire year, but because of how I had to leave McDonalds, noone wants to hire me.

    Yeah I liked Saw V .. Im glad it wasn't as gory as the others, because that stuff creeps me out. But I loved the plot!

    And it was insane how many people went to see HSM 3 compared to Saw. I mean we had more than 5 people watching the movie with us (probably 20 or so haha). It took a friend of ours almost 20 mins to get popcorn, because of all those little girls. Frig!

You did an amazing job - definitely tell you did two days worth of work. I sadly will admit that I wasn't able to get ANY decorations up this year. ::Freak Out:: Holy shit? That's fucked for me. I mean, I have an entire haunted village for christ sakes! Nothing this year. I was too lazy. I had no time, and with being sick and the bull shit I'm going through with Matt I just couldn't do it. I don't honestly know how I'm able to deal/cope every day, but here I am. Someday I might just go crazy and bash his head into something. I make no promises of that not happening. I will go postal.

    Omgsh, I'm sort of jealous. Your house looks rad! Everyone's so into Halloween, and here in Australia it's like 'bleh'. Not even celebrated. But the shops are getting all weird and attempting to sell creepy masks.

    Haha Saw. I have not had the guts to watch any Saw movies. I'm scared. I hate blood. :P. Really not my kind of movie. Haha. I think I'd cry during it. LOL. But glad you liked it. I usually expect sequels and things to be worse than the original. x)

    I don't think I'm a PC, no matter what the advert says. I took me a while to realise what they were on about, I thought they were Public Cervants (servants being with a 'c' of course). Stupid MAC, making children think that they're PCs.

    High School Musical 3, they're taking it a bit too far. The first one was bad enough. :) At least it will be quiet at the movies that I actually want to see.

    I wish we could trim up like that, my family sort of celebrate Halloween, but our decorations consist of crappy paper chains and maybe a pumpkin. My mother will usually make something edible too, because she's a brilliant cook.

    We never get many trick or treaters because we live on the main road, and so parents are scared their children will get run over. The only people who come here are our neighbour's kids, or other people we know from the town, and they are starting to hit that stage where they feel too old to do it.

    I want to get dressed up, but unfortunately, I have no place to go. =( *ponders* Maybe I'll be able to persuade my Marmy to let me and my mates sit in the attic, n'stuff. We got to go into my friend's sister's house last year because she was on holiday and told my friend that we could borrow her living room, it won't be the same if my parents can hear us. xD

    So we saw Max Payne instead. (Wanted to see Eagle Eye, but noooooo, it had to start at 4:20, and the voice on the phone told me it started at 4:30!

    In the theatre, there was a long effing line for, you guessed it, HSM 3. But you know what that feels like.
