Christmas is over, and you all know what that means, don't you?

An abundance of talk about how meaningful it was to spend time with friends and family? I don't think so. A lecture on how good the joy of giving felt? Not a chance. Discussion on the 'true meaning' of Christmas, whether you travel the rather ridic baby Jesus road or groove down the more sensible Solstice lane? Nope. An ostentatious entry filled with nothing but a numerous amount of photos and detailed descriptions of every single present I received on Christmas morning ...? o_o

Fuck. Yes.

First up, a shot of all the stationary, books, and digital media I received! From left to right, there's two packages of skullicious stamps, stickers, and 'tattoos' for scrapbooking style projects; Green Day's official 2011 calendar; An Abnormal Psychology textbook from my brother Cameron, as he knows I love studying the subject just for fun; Andrew Davidson's The Gargoyle novel; The sixth issue of Yuna Kagesaki's Chibi Vampire manga; The Scott Pilgrim Versus The World DVD; Linkin Park's newest album, A Thousand Suns; And, again from my brother Cameron, a fifteen dollar gift card for a Canadian clothing store called Stitches, where I buy all my jeans. *^^*

Next, I got a massive load of personal hygiene products --- Which I really appreciate, as it gets expensive buying it myself all the time! From left to right, three packages of BIC and Torq razors; Four boxes of Dove soap; Four bottles of Mitchum roll on deodorant; A fifty millilitre sized bottle of Avril Lavigne's newest fragrance, Forbidden Rose --- Which smells awesome as fuck, by the by; Two bottles of Alice In Wonderland body spray, one 'Red Queen' themed and one 'White Queen' themed; A bottle of Peppermint Therapy foot scrub; A ROC kit containing hand cream and repairing lip care; A huge bottle of Scope Outlast mouthwash; A box of Life brand dry facial cleaning cloths; Crest Whitestrips; A sparkly Colgate toothbrush; A box of Crest 3D White toothpaste; Three cans of Gilette shaving cream; Alice In Wonderland 'White Queen' themed body lotion; Various little packets of mud masks, body lotions, facial scrubs, and the like; A squeeze bottle of Fruit Frappe's Freshly Squeezed shower gel, in Blueberry Citron; And lastly, a paper packet of Body Truffles' Chocolate Raspberry soothing bath powder!

This third batch is of all the cosmetic type presents I received! From left to right, MAC's matte black Carbon eyeshadow; MAC's shimmery White Frost eyeshadow; MAC's 168 brush; MAC's 224 brush; MAC's 239 brush; Annabelle's Smudgeliner, in Ohmygoth!; Annabelle's Smoothliner, in Black; Annabelle's Kohl Eyeliner, in Black; And a little tin of Emily The Strange blackberry lip balm!

The photo below depicts the various bottles of essential oils that I've been wanting for awhile to start making my own all natural oil based fragrances! From left to right, Lavender essential oil; Lemon essential oil; Lime essential oil; Tangerine essential oil; Frankincense essential oil; Clove essential oil; Anise essential oil; And a bottle of hemp seed oil to act as the 'carrier' for the essential oils, due to the fact that one mustn't apply essential oils directly onto the skin undiluted. Obviously, this is just a start, as I'll need many more essential oils to create a wider variety of scents, along with a bottle of jojoba oil as opposed to simply hemp seed oil, as jojoba doesn't require refrigeration ... Whereas hemp seed does. x_X; I also need a bunch of tiny glass bottles to store my finishing scentastic creations in when they're complete! I've been admiring these star shaped ones for a few days now ... ^u^;

Now for the wee collection of tiny treats I received, both edible and non edible! From left to right, a box of strawberry cream filled Hello Panda cookies; A barrel of round candies complete with a plastic Mario figurine on top; Four powdery Double Lollies; Four packets of Bubblicious Bursts gum; A pen shaped like an electric guitar; And a little plastic box of erasers that look exactly like miniature versions of real sweeties!

And here's my 'home and garden' type presents. From left to right, a brand new and wonderfully bright black shaded lamp; A candle holder carved out of some kind of light porcelain into a realistic angel form, also from my brother Cameron; And a limited edition Jasmine Becket Griffith figurine from her Fairy Dragonling Companions Collection!

Now onto the accessories and such. From left to right, a box of Loew Cornell metallic acrylic paints, from my brother Cameron; A pack of SpongeBob SquarePants silly bandz style bracelets; A lunch bag covered in skulls that I'll probably end up using as a purse, just 'cause it's way too fantastic to only use for the holdage of food; A skull patterned handkerchief that I'm going to sew into one of those mini tie necklaces; A white pair of Converse Chuck Taylors patterned with black stars; And six Reeves watercolour paints that I couldn't wait to try out and took out of the package straight away ... Once again from Cameron! *^^*

It's time for a pajama party, people! From left to right, a red plaid pair of pajama pants; A black microfleece pair of pajama pants; A pink microfleece housecoat covered in white hearts; A pair of insanely comfy purple slippers; Two different pairs of peacesignencasedwithinaheart patterned pajama shorts; AND A PACKAGE OF FRUIT OF THE LOOM PANTIES BECAUSE EVERYONE REALLY CARES THAT I GOT PANTIES FOR CHRISTMAS. o_o

Things you wear upon your hips, buttocks, and legs --- Three pairs of them! From left to right, a pair of rhinestone explosion flared jeans; A pair of three button skinnies; And a pair of pocket studded extra skinnies ... All from Stitches!

And this, my friends, is the motherfuckingload. *o*; The mother. Fucking. Load. Seriously, I have never in my life received this many of ... Anything ... At one time. @_@; Click the thumbnail below and you'll see what I mean! I'm still in awe over the sheer number of slim fit tee shirts alone --- Never mind the fact that I also adore each and every design! >w<; W00tsicles!

Last and littlest but definitely not least, I present to you Mallory's very first iProduct: A fourth generation two gigabyte iPod shuffle, in the beautiful silver and black colour combination! I was super surprised when I tore off the wrapping paper and discovered this little beauty inside, because I've been asking for a new MP3 player for several years, but never really thought I'd receive one until now! ;She dances about in delighted glee for approximately thirty nine minutes.; ^o^

And the acquisitive joy didn't end there, oh no! Two days after Christmas, I visited Giant Tiger, Dollar Giant, and the Goodwill, and my purchases from each of those stores made up big ol' bundle of win! From left to right, pictured are a pair of gently used black and pink Chuck Taylor knockoffs I bought for $6.99 at the Goodwill; A second pair of Chuck Taylor knockoffs, this time in black pleather and covered in studs, $5.00 from Giant Tiger; A third pair of faux Chucks, in a light blue to match the new light blue Mario shirt I got for Christmas, also $5.00 from Giant Tiger; A pack of Disney Fairies silly bandz style bracelets, $1.97 from Giant Tiger; Spider's Song, a novel by Anita Daher, $1.99 from Goodwill; A pack of Spiderman silly bandz style bracelets, $1.97 from Giant Tiger, and a light pink and blue cassette tap keychain for $1.25 from Dollar Giant, which I'm gonna modify into a necklace to match the new Jeffree Star and balloon ribcage shirts I got for Christmas!

And that just about wraps up my deliciously materialistic post Christmas entry! ^_~ I hope you all had as wonderful a Christmas as I did, because --- To be completely serious for a moment --- Even if I had only received three, or two, or one, or no presents at all, mine would have been just as stellar. >w<

I'll see you all in 2011, darklings --- In other words, next Wednesday! ♥

Mallory

  3. Poisonous Apology has closed down, please remove my link :)

  4. I probably will in the near future, seeing as I've always loved web designing. I might start up a site with a friend or something, at least then there won't be so much pressure to update if there are two of us :P

I'll let you know in the future if I plan to open up a new site though ^^

  7. Nice Haul! Merry (somewhat belated) Xmas!

  8. Wowza, you raked in some serious goods!! I loved looking at all of your tees!Wanna know something cool? Back in the day Mr. Jefree Star had a blog and I was a regular commenter. I'm sure he has no idea who I am now since he's all famous, but I remember him well from long ago. It's kind of cool to know he's all famous now, haha.

Your brother got you some really nice presents. As an only child, I think that is just so sweet and generous of him. I'm also insanely jealous of your makeup brushes!! They look absolutely soft and silky, and MAC makes some amazing makeup tools! I'm so glad you had a wonderful Christmas!

  9. oh i did mail your xmas card monday, sorry it's late

  10. and thank you i dont knwo what ill do next

  11. Damn girl, that's all of gifts. I honestly;y don''t even know what to see. *Tries to collect herself* Okay I'm just going to make a brief comment on every picture you posted.
    1) The "Green Day Calender" looks awesome, and the "The Gargoyle" books sounds intriguing, and I've never seen that movie.
    2) That's a lot of "hygiene products", you lucky girl.
    3) The make-up stuff looks awesome. I haven't gotten new make-up in forever, so picture me envious.
    4) I'm not a big oil person, but it looks like you hit a jack pot.
    5) The edible stuff is so cute!!!
    6) The garden statues are awesome, i always though those things were a mixture of cool and creepy.
    7) OMG! SpongeBob silly bandz!
    8) Cute PJ's, I never pictured you were pink though. LOL!
    9) Nice looking pants.
    10) All those shirts look AWESOME!!!! I love the "balloon skeleton" and the "razorblade lip" one.
    11) Envious over your iPOD. I've wanted one forever, I have a crappy MP3 player, but I'm glad you've upgraded!!!
    12) It looks like you bought some cool stuff, I like black shoes.

*wipes sweat off forehead* I'm glad you had a good Christmas!!!!

  12. I didn't get any presents, but I guess that's all cool with me, since my parents aren't too keen on celebrating Christmas. We did in the past a fair bit, though. It's just that sadly my parents have become really busy around this time of year with work and such. And they have never really been big on presents. I love reading about other people getting presents.

I'm trying to expand my wardrobe; I have enough geeky shirts and band shirts so I'm trying to find more funky dresses to wear, actually. :)

Panties are cool! Everyone must know you got some cool new panties haha.

I'm glad you got an iPod! :) Let us know if you give it a name. I had an mp3 player for the longest time, and my parents were absolutely not keen on getting me anything proper. My player kept dying until I did convince them to get me an iPhone since my phone needed an upgrade too...!

PS. I'm definitely not changing for other people, dear! I just feel good about myself when I am nice to people, I definitely don't like being negative ALL the time. I'll still be inclined to rant and be a bitch to random strangers on the train, though, as usual. XD

    Happy new year, love! <3

  13. Woah. You got some awesome Christmas presents! =]

And no worries, I've been pretty busy myself. This time of year is crazy. lol

Glad to see you had a great Christmas! Happy New Year! xoxo

  14. i got tired of that holiday real quick and id have to change it next month

  15. HI! :D Haha, is it too late for me to comment on this post?

Since I do not celebrate Christmas Day here, I did not receive any presents. But I am fine with it. ;) My, that's a lot of presents you have there! I am happy and excited for you.

I am interested in Psychology too and would love to study it just for fun for now. I have not decided what subjects I should study in college so I'd like to take a little look at what Psychology is all about and hopefully that will increase my interest. However, my sister told me that Psychology is not a secure job here since not many companies hire a psychologist. Furthermore, due to the difference in culture, a person who visits a psychologist here means that he or she is having some mental problems, somehow. That sort of brings me down. Of course, I'm not aiming for high salary, I am interested in the subject because I want to study human minds and I think that I am a fair listener and an advisor among my friends, even seniors and family members. But of course, it wouldn't be nice if I manage to finish the course but not able to get a job. You know what I mean.

Ah, the Hello Panda cookies! My family and I used to be a big fans of it. But somehow, it gets too sweet. The plastic box of erasers looks cute to me! And wow, that is a lot of T-shirts you received. O__O It'd be nice if I could receive some too, I love T-shirts. :P

Oh my goodness! Congratulations on getting an iPod! (Why am I so happy -__-) It looks so classy. :D My elder sister just received an iPhone from her husband. I wanted to work for an iPod myself, but I couldn't. Sigh. But, I have a MP3 player, kube, made in Singapore. (http://www.thekubeplayer.com/) I bought it myself, using the money I earned on the internet two years ago, and I love it a lot. :D I broke the earphones a few weeks ago, but luckily my elder sister received a new pair of earphones from her friend just in time and she gave it to me. Thank god, I couldn't survive without a MP3 player!

I am glad you had a great Christmas. Merry Belated Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)

  16. Holyfuck, you got a shitload of presents!! So did I actually, it seems that Santa is spoiling everyone this year... Got me tons, new laptop (WHICH I LOVE), lots of bath stuff, Toy Story 3, lots of make-up, some clothes, Beatles calender, underwear, tons of chocolate, a hoodie from Hollister (which I looooove because I really wasn't expecting it and it's so yellow and warm and cosy!) and other random shizzle. ;D

I seem like such a bitch, sitting writing about all the stuff IIII got on your blog.. I AM SORRY. I must say I am jealous of the amount of t-shirts you got, t-shirts are always good because.. I don't know why they are actually, but they just are.

OH AND GUESS WHAT! WE USE THE SAME SHAVING CREAM! Okay well not right now cos I'm using another one cos mines ran out but STIIIIIIIL I usually have the one you have.. well the threeeee you have but ye get what I mean, sorry I'm pure rambling here, went to sleep at 6.30 last night (well, this morning, new years, I alwys stay up way too late) so I'm shattttttttttttered right now so I fail at making sense :)

I fail at making sense when I'm wide awake too but stilllllllllllll, YE GET MEEE?!

  17. That is a fucking EPIC haul. I am quite jealous. All I got was a set of 4 bath towels and a pair of shoes. But I ate myself stupid, so I can't really complain.

I hope you enjoy the Abnormal Psych textbook. I did a paper in AbPsych last year, and it was definitely my favourite paper of 2010. The textbook was such an easy read too. It helps when you're really interested in the subject though.

Awesome to see you had a good Christmas. Hope you have an equally good 2011!

  18. Wow, that is a lot of stuff. :') I was going to do a blog like that, with photos, but I couldn't be bothered in the end. I got my new phone a few weeks before Christmas as an early present so I thought I'd get basically nothing on the day, but I ended up with 2 t-shirts, 4 books, Toy Story 3 on DVD, leggings, and an absolute ton of the expensive nail polishes, eyeshadows and eyeliners that I love but can only afford if I have a voucher to get money off them. So I was dead happy. :'D
Oh, and underwear. I think everyone gets underwear at Christmas. :L

Anyway, away from my presents, hehe. I adore what you got, especially the jeans. I love skinnies myself, but I kinda feel I'm a bit fat for them-not that they don't fit, just that they're unflattering on me. I'm going to have to try and lose a shitload of weight this year. XD I'm happy for you that you got so much, and I love how grateful you seem even for presents that I think a lot of people wouldn't appreciate, like toothpaste. :)

Thanks for saying I'm smart. It's not true, but thanks anyway. :P Nah, it is true, and I know I sound bigheaded saying that. Being smart is my problem, because it's meant that until now I've never had to study, all of last year's exams were easy to me whereas other people had to work hard and study, and this year's are difficult for everyone so now I do have to study, and I'm finding it difficult because I've never had to.
That was a long sentence. xD

Lol, the holidays I mentioned were just the tip of the iceberg. I've been to 15 or so countries, depending what you count as a country. Most of them at least twice; the only ones I've visited once are Monaco, Vatican City(assuming you count them both as countries), Spain, Russia and Norway. I've been to France and Germany 3 times, and Sweden 4. :L
Plus, that was all in just 4 years, between 2003 and 2007, except for Ireland. It was a busy few years. We didn't go on a vast amount of holidays, it's just that we went to two or three countries each time: that's the beauty of Europe, how easy it is to travel to so many countries. I think we went on holiday to other parts of Scotland a few times in those years as well. Like I said, busy. But amazing.

Happy New Year and best wishes to you too. :) I'll end this comment before it gets any longer, it's a slightly ridiculous length already. I ramble too much. :'D

  19. Thanks! I was going for something a little different. Looks like you got some awesome Christmas presents :-).

  20. I usually have a nice post-Christmas spa night with all of my hygiene/pampering products, I didn't get those this year, though. I got a vacuum cleaner, and let me tell you. I've never been so excited about a damned household cleaning appliance. I sorely needed a new vacuum.

  21. Hey girl. Thanks much for the comment. Yeppers, my Christmas with my son was definitely amazing beyond belief as was your I can see, hehe. You got alot of nice things I see ^^

For right now, my sons birthday isnt too bad, a little hectic this year because my uncle went into the hospital the day after Christmas which made things a little tough, but hopefully as my darling 2 yr old gets older, he will understand if things dont go totally his way, or understand if he doesnt get so many presents lol But I do wanna try to keep it a themed birthday every year, for his sake at least...something he may grow to enjoy I hope xD. My 2011 is going alright so far...hope yours is well hun <3 TTYS <3

  22. Holy shit, that is.. quite the impressive loot o.o
I am amost, hell, I am actually jealous of the fact that we never celebrate Christmas with presents around here.
It looks like your celebration was a pretty damned epic one.

I couldn't help overseeing that you got Andrew Davidson's "The Gargoyle". I absolutely loved that book, I hope you'll appreciate it too! And, dear lord - Chibi Vampire! I used to LOVE that series, and the anime adaption Karin as well.

Also: "the first iProduct", does that imply that you're meaning to get more? Awesome n.n
The shuffles are absolutely adorable, if I didn't have a classic and wasn't so set on dragging my entire music collection along every day, I'd totally have gotten one.

  23. happy new year :3
do you want to enter my sotm? http://bit.ly/hZnrqH

  24. I'm so jealous of your MAC brushes. You have no idea.

My relatives stopped giving me stuff a few years ago. Now they give me money so I can buy my own stuff. lol.

  25. those are some awesome gifts you received!!! and nice t-shirts! I think my fav has got to be mario! i hope you had a great new years day!

yes those strawberries were so expensive BUT they were a lot better than the imported strawberries you usually find at local supermarkets. funny you'd think that the imported stuff would be better lol wow being caffeine intolerant, even if not naturally, seems pretty awesome, chocolate is still one of my highly prized snacks so im not ready to give it up yet but i don't really give about eating chunks of fudge or caramel, yuck!

  26. I didn't get a tablet for Christmas, but I got something even better: an electric guitar. I felt like stabbing people with rainbows because I was so happy.

I am so jealous of your gifts. My favorites are the guitar pen, skull bag, and graphic tees. Actually, all of them are amazing.

But seriously, holy shit. If you put all of your presents together it would make a gigantic pile of awesomeness.

The studded Chuck Taylor knockoffs looks very sexy. :D

  27. Wow... you really racked up this year! I'm completely in love with the tee collection and the jeans... should have asked for clothing money, shoot!

Congrats on the shuffle! Green Day on the go in one tiny gadget... ^_^

  28. Thanks, hope yours was too!

  29. Wow, you got a ton of stuff for christmas! I almost said Halloween for some reason. I'm not really sure why? Maybe it's because of the bats or something hahaa that reminded me of Halloween.

I love MAC products. It's just too bad that they're super expensive & kind of a rip off. :/

Wow you got a lot of stuff! :D That's really awesome. I love Hello Panda cookie treats. Those are so yummy. Chocolate filled anything is amazing.

I've never been a fan of the iPod shuffle because I can't see what I'm listening to, haha, but congrats I have an iPod classic (the best!!) & it's kind of a brick in comparison to those with the iTouch, but whatever, I have a crap load of music so yeah. haha welcome to the world of Apple! I like going into the Apple store to mess with the iPad. It's effin' amazing. You got so many gifts! haha I don't think I've ever gotten that many in my life, but it's okay. :D Looks like you had a great xmas!

  30. Oh my goodness, you got so much stuff!! e_e I'm so jealous. I don't get too much for Christmas, but my family doesn't really support my style :3

I like reading about psychology, too. It's a pretty interesting subject. You must have a good brother. I especially like the shirt on the top left corner, but I don't know what it's for... And I didn't even get panties nor hygiene products this year :(. Your Christmas gifts already beat my life's collection of stuff LOL.

    & happy new year :)
    --
That's a pretty good way to look at things, actually :). I like your thinking :D

  31. I am so envious of your gifts! I want the MAC that you got!! And I love the new lamp too!

Thanks for visiting my blog - I think YOU are GORGEOUS! xx

  32. Aw it looks like you received a lot of cool stuff. I just received some money, some accessories, make up, clothes, etc.

I'm loving all the cosmetic stuff you got :) You clearly have some awesome friends/family to get you all of that cool stuff ;P

  33. an amazing collection of presents. I'm glad you had such a wonderful Christmas :)

  34. woah so many presents! Im jealous!
