2 April 2010

;She pops into view quite suddenly, decked out in a sailor suit crafted entirely of black fabric, a matching sailor's cap perched on her head. She grins and begins skipping about, firing off multiple naval salutes.;

Welcome aboard, m'loves! ^_^

You've just set sail on the SS Fuckin' Stellar, where our only destinations are Awesome and Win! Today, we're going to be visiting both of these locations, so kick back in one of the provided unfoldable chaise lounges and relax as we embark on this glorious journey! ^o^

;She continues flashing everyone naval salutes in a manner most jubilant, an occasional one fingered salute thrown in for a bit of spice.;

One returning Affie has been added to the Affiliates page: Wyther Wyskers! Wyther had taken leave of the Bloggernetz for quite a stretch of time, but now she's back, and with a magnificent new site --- So be sure to click on over and show her a bit of eHospitality in the form of a comment or two! ^_~

One new doll has been added to the Emo Kids page! Now, like I always say, I realise that a single doll hardly seems like much of an update, but know this: When I make dolls, I don't just slap together a single doll maker's props and be done with it, oh no. That's not how things roll here on mallorymaloney.com. Instead, I print screen props from multiple different doll makers one by one, paste all of the props into Microsoft Paint, carefully piece each prop together to form a rough draft of a doll, edit and recolour every last pixel of said draft until I deem it perfect, crop it, paste it into Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, select which areas of the image I want transparent, save it as a GIF, and then, finally, the doll's complete. @_@; So as you can see, it's not as easy or quick as it looks ... Hence why a single doll warrants a mention in the updates, haha.

Eight new ideas have been added to the Site Name/Username Ideas page, including Dirty Mirror, Flightless Angel, Glimmerstone, the first idea I've ever added that begins with an 'X', and the first idea I've ever added that begins with a 'Z'! Now all I have to do is think of a bunch of ideas that begin with 'Q' and I'll have a complete A to Z list! >w<; ((And yes, I actually intend to do this, LOL.))

Okay, now that we've got those outta the way, let's move on to today's blog segment! First topic up for discussion: That Green Day concert I mentioned in the previous Updates/Blog entry! ^_~

The tickets went on sale for said concert last Saturday, and, as you all likely remember, I pledged that I was going to be first in the virtual eLine to snatch up a pair of 'general admission' tickets, which basically translates to 'as close as you can get' ... But until now, I haven't let anyone in the Blogosphere know if I was able to get the tickets I wanted or not, not even on Twitter --- Mostly 'cause I love keeping you all in suspense, LOL! ^u^

I know that several of you have been absolutely dying to know the outcome of my ticket snatchin' escapades, though, so I won't leave 'ya hanging any longer:

I got two general admission tickets!

That's right, m'loves, I got exactly what I wanted: The best tickets available! One for me, and one for my Dad, who's nearly as big of a Green Day fan as I am. ^^; And what's more, the tickets weren't difficult to get whatsoever! O_O; I this sounds slightly unbelievable, but trust me, it was as easy as pie. *_*

On Friday night, I set my alarm to go off at 9:30 AM --- Way earlier than I really needed, considering the tickets didn't go on sale until 11:00 AM, but I wanted to be well prepared! I then proceeded to make myself a piece of French toast for breakfast, to ensure my energy levels were at their maximum peak. I also downed several cups of water, 'cause I knew my nerves'd be forcing my sweat glands into overdrive. o_o

After that, the only thing I could do was wait until 11:00 AM, which I did with a minimal amount of patience and a maximum amount of impatience. Finally, though, the clock that I had been watching obsessively for the last hour or so told me that it was fifteen minutes to 11:00, so it was time to get it on.

I fired up Internet Explorer, navigated on over to the correct ticket selling page on TicketMaster.Ca, and then proceeded to furiously F5 that shit for the next fourteen minutes --- Up until the clock displayed 10:59. It was at that point I kicked into F5 Overdrive, baby. I was a refreshing animal --- No, scratch that, a refreshing alpha male! =_=

My dominance over the F5 key is what enabled me to buy such an amazing pair of tickets, 'cause it meant that I saw the ticket selling page's header text change from 'Tickets Not Available' to 'Search For Tickets' the very instant it happened ... And thus was able to select 'two tickets' for the 'general admission floor' in an equally instantaneous manner! *o*

... As opposed to some fans I spoke with afterward, who stated that they didn't refresh the page until 11:01 AM, and thus were only able to get tickets so far away from the stage, they'd be better off just staying at home and watching Bullet In A Bible instead. >_>;

Thanks to my obsessive diligence, though, I'm not going to be amongst that crowd --- Instead, I'm gonna be smack dab in the middle of the crowded, sweaty, dirty pit, just how I like it ... Which is important to me, 'cause I have a kinda lame 'life goal' that I wouldn't be able to achieve if I was any further away from the stage.

For quite a few years now, one of my 'life goals', ((AKA one of the items on my mental list of ' Things To Do Before I Die',)) Has been to meet all the members of Green Day and let them know how much they mean to me. However, since this goal is a little farfetched --- Meeting Green Day isn't something that you can just go and do, like deciding to go to the store and buy a new bag of milk --- I added a new, more easily accomplishable goal to aforementioned mental list:

Make eye contact with one or more members of Green Day.

Again, I know this seems a bit lame, but it's just something that's really important to me ... Especially after last year, when I couldn't catch a single band member's eye even once. x_x; At first I figured this was simply because they couldn't see the crowd very clearly, due to all of the impossibly bright stage lights. Makes sense, right?

But when I spoke to other fans who had attended the concert a few days later, they told me that Billie had made direct eye contact with them at least five times, or that Mike had winked at them, or that Tré had pointed at them and grinned, and so on and some such ... So ever since last year, I've been absolutely determined to get the same level of interaction from at least one of the band members. Absolutely determined! ><;

The only problem is I'm not sure how to go about doing this. I already tried waving my arms about and jumping up and down and screaming incoherently --- How the Hell else d'you try and get someone's attention?! I suppose I could try screaming their individual names when they move closer to me, but somehow that seems a little too 'fangirly', if y'know what I mean. x_X;

I suppose I shouldn't be relying on accomplishing my goal too much, though, because there's always the possibility that I might not be able to get anywhere near the front of the pit --- I might be stuck three or four or even twenty people back. Still, though, I'll try my hardest, even if it means behaving like a total concert douchenozzle and shoving my way to the front. e_e;

For now, though, I gotta focus on planning an outfit for the concert! Last year, I was originally planning to wear an outfit with a black and red colour scheme, but I changed my mind two months before the show after a fellow blogger named Vief remarked that '... I always pictured Green Day as a band to wear green to ...' As soon as I read that, I soon changed my mind and decided to wear --- You guessed it --- Primarily green.

This time around, though, I think I'm gonna use my original idea from last year, and wear black and red! ^o^ Aside from the colour scheme, though, I haven't really decided on any other aspects of the outfit ... Except for the footwear, that is!

I've decided that when I get my next tax cheque from the government --- Which should be any week now, actually --- I gonna buy a pair of Demonia boots straight away, considering I've been dying to buy a pair for years, anyway. The only problem is deciding which pair I wanna get! @_@;

Anyone wanna help me out with my dilemma ...? If so, then just click the thumbnails below to check out the pricing and specs for each shoe, and then let me know which pair you'd pick if it was up to you!

I want a pair of the first boot pictured the most, as I think they look the most magnificent ... But the fact that they're men's is a bit of a throw off, as men's shoes never fit the same as women's. Plus, while steel toes are super hardcore, they're also super uncomfortable. On top of all this, they'd be way outta my price range. x_x;

I'm not sure if I like the overall shape of the second boot that much, but the height a pair of these babies would give me --- Without the aid of a slutty looking separated heel --- Would be absolutely Heaven sent at a concert! Plus, they'd be very much within my price range. ^^

I absolutely love the overall shape of the third boot, and, just like the second boot, the height these would give my short self would be stupendous. The only negative part is that they're just slightly out of my price range. ;_;

And as for the last two boots, I both love and hate the fact that they include the colour red --- Because while they'd match a red and black outfit perfectly, they wouldn't match perfectly with, well, any other colour scheme. e_e; However, I'd actually be able to afford both of these.

So, if you'd like to help me decide which pair of boots I should buy, then be sure to let me know when you leave a comment! *^^*

'Til then, much love ... And thank you for sailing with the SS Fuckin' Stellar! ;She winks as she performs a saluting finale, composed of both the naval and one fingered variety.;

Heart!

Mallory

  1. I've been to both Awesome and Win on my travels, but the people in Win kicked my ass all the way back to Fail. The people in Awesome were awesome though.

    I would most definitely get the first pair pictured. In fact, they're the very same pair I've been hoping to hear of someone else buying so I can be sure that if I were to buy them, they'd fit around my fucking MASSIVE calves. I never have to worry about getting cankles, because my calves will always make my ankles look tiny. Haha.

  2. Wow, congratulations on getting general admission tickets! I know that it takes a lot of effort to get those, especially for a band as big as Green Day. You must be super fucking excited (stating the obvious, I know :D).

    As for the boots, I personally like the first pair the best, simply because they're not platform (I don't like platform shoes/boots). But you obviously like platforms, plus you mentioned that the first pair of boots are out of your price league (looking the price, I can definitely understand that!).

    So, ruling the first pair out. I would personally get boots that are just black so that they can go with anything, so for me that rules out the fourth and fifth pair.

    Between the second and third pair, I like the second pair better, and I like the price better (I'm cheap lol). But for maximum height increase, the third pair would be the way to go (the platforms look higher - I'm not sure if they actually are). Plus, like that the third pair come with parts that you can add on.

    So, in my opinion, I think you should go for either the second or third pair. I would personally buy the second pair.

    Hope this helps a little :)

  3. Grats on getting your tickets! That's some diligent F5'ing you did! So happy you get to see them again, and hardcore envying you too. ;D

    As for the boots, I think I like the second pair best. They are a hardcore black and the buckles are super sexy. Big buckles (like the ones on the third pair of boots) are just awkward to me, I like smaller buckles and lots of them! So I would go with the second pair. n_n;;

    xo; Amber

  4. Congrats on snagging some killer tickets. I hope you are able to catch some eye contact this time around. Maybe you should wear some sort of outrageous hat that is HUGE and they will notice you right away. lol Just a thought.
    I personally like the second boots the best only because I have owned a pair. They became the shoes I wore everyday for a year until I finally decided to start wearing a new pair of shoes that were less boot-like and more mary jane-ish. :P I do however, like the fourth pair as well. The plaid kicks ass. But you are right about only being able to match them with a limited amount if outfits. My opinion - Buy the second pair!

  5. I always feel bad replying to comments on my blog when i've already commented on yours but oh well, I shall do it anyways!

    So first off, in regards to the mountains and such I am pretty lucky to live in a beautiful little town. But i'm 8+ hours from both Vancouver AND Edmonton so I don't have the freedom (or money) to be able to travel. But my friend Julia, who took those photos, is from Sweden and she got to go heliskiing for free since she worked with us at the hotel for a while. She's put up more pics so i'll get around to posting more tomorrow if you want to check them out. (Well, today for you. Hehe.)

    As for the site thing... as I said on Twitter, I don't really know if I will have the money to renew for another year. I'm going to try, but I don't know if I can do it. I'll feel bad if I don't, since I host my friend, Taralee. So i'm going to try.

    But another reason is that i'm playing WoW again (feel free to scorn me for falling back into that addiction) so there's more money gone and time as well. Though i'm planning to add in a section on the site for my WoW nerdiness.

    I'm going to try, hun. But if I am not able to do it, then there's nothing I can do until I can muster up $107 CAD for another year.

    Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you that I got my HK from eBay! Sadly, they didn't have much for skully stuff except for this one super rad full-skeleton necklace I want. It's so cool. Everything else is Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse, or Playboy. =P

    http://myworld.ebay.com/love-aiwoya/

    Skully necklace: http://cgi.ebay.com/Skull-Swarovski-Crystal-Pendant-Necklace-Easter-Xmas-S3_W0QQitemZ180452717882QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a03d1f53a#ht_4747wt_1165

    I'm so tempted to buy it but i'm not sure if I should waste my last $9 in my Paypal on it. >.<

  6. Woo, congrats on getting those tickets! *hifives* That'll be me the next time Funeral For A Friend come to Glasgow, f5 ninja. Even though they're nothing like as big as Green Day so really I don't have to. I just wouldn't want to miss the chance. :L
    You should have seen how hyper I was when Funeral For A Friend retweeted me on Friday. I was hitting the freakin' ceiling. XD So obsessed...

    I'd either get the first or second pair. They're pretty awesome. :3 The third pair are fine, but I don't think I would choose them. As for the fourth and fifth...that seems to be tartan. Tartan is not good. :L It's probably different in Canada, but here tartan is just associated with pipe bands and pipers. Not something that people would generally wear, haha, so I just automatically think no. Plus, what would they go with? Really?
    So yeah, seeing as how expensive the first pair are, I'd probably say the second pair. Hope that helped. :L

  7. Hey ^^
    I hope you have an awesome Easter :]

    I absolutely love the second and third pair of boots, but I love them all :P
    I recommend you buy some Demonia platforms at some point though; I personally think Demonia's are the best around :]
    God, this is making me want another pair now xD

  8. I'm so happy you got your tickets. I actually used Greenday for a lesson plan a week or so ago. It was pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

    Also, I love the first pair of boots the best. I like them because they seem the most versatile. Plus you can wear them with any outfit. The red ones are cool too (the very last ones), but like you said...they won't match everything. Happy boot shopping!

  9. I don't really know if there is a way to get their direct attention without making a total ass of yourself, but they're probably used to that and understand how excited their fans get. They know you love them! I've actually never been to a concert of my choice (friends took me to see their bands) so I think I'll probably act a fool when I finally get to. :3

    The 2nd boots would be my choice too, for the same reasons. I love shoes that give me a boost and those just look extra hot with all the buckles.

  10. Wow once again another book.

    I couldn't get to your site for a bit, then I couldn't get to my site, but now are both back up, so I can comment your lovely Green Day obbessed blog. Glad you won.

    I like the concord 108 and creeper 812B.

    on to your reply...
    I think I lost the comment. Sorry. So I really cannot reply to it, stupid server junk. Grrrr... I might find it later or maybe not. who knows

  11. YAY YOU GOT TICKETS!! ^.^ you are the mayor of Awesometowne!
    making eye contact with the band is totally doable, especially if one is a cute girl, and luckily, you are. i went to a general admission Evanescence show a while back with a friend of mine who is also a cute girl. we were on the main floor. after the show she told me how she took it in turns to look at and admire each member of the band, as she felt that the singer always got all of the attention. she was watching the guitarist for a while and he totally wobbled his eyebrows and nodded at her. so, my advice would be to NOT try for the singer right off. the other members probably feel overshadowed by him a lot and would be glad for some attention!
    now, as for the boots... mmmm. i do like girls who wear buckley boots. oh yes. ...
    um.
    you should probably ignore that.
    as i was saying...
    i think that third boot would be your best bet. it IS rather expensive, but going by the other pictures, it looks like it is really versatile and someone like you could probably really do some wicked outfits with it. i also like that you have the option for flames with it >:-) if that one IS too expensive, then i'd go for the last boot. sure, it has red in it which does somewhat limit your option, but come on! youre fuckin mallory malloney, okay? you could come up with 101 different red-schemed outfits to where with it, i am certain. coz you rule. no lie.

  12. congrats on getting the tickets.and red and black hmm that could work as for the boots i'm at a loss and thanks for the comments they're much appreciated and you should know lush mb it's pretty easy to get along with everyone.now i'm off to do housework have a great easter

  13. Compared to my usual comments, this is going to be a huge let-down. I'm attempting to write a blog about the gig I was at on Thursday night, and upload all the pictures to PhotoFUCKIT (which is having an almighty spaz attack, as per) and I'm trying to figure out what to do with all the new stuff I got and the tiny fact that my hair looks like it's been put in a shredder.

    I'm stoked that you got tix for Green Day, as I know how much it means to you. And also.. You're excited about that, imagine how excited I was when I found out I'm going to see William Control in July!! So I'll get to meet my main man Wil Francis again! JEEZLY AYCH CHRIST ON A CHARIOT-DRIVEN CRUTCH! *dead*

    At the moment, I'm a spoiled brat cause I got loads of early birthday presents from Vati and £100 which I've spent completely. And I've had KFC and Dominoes Pizza and millionaire's shortbread so I'm a fat spoiled brat too (with hair that looks like it's been put in a shredder, in a good way!)

    I love you! And get the first set of boots!

    K xx

  14. Have fun at your Green Day concert ^-^. Bringing a camera along (which I'm sure you will) can get you some eye contact I'm sure :p

    I like the second pair most - even though 2, 4 and 5 are all on my wishlist lol x]

  15. I never knew making dolls could be such a long process. :o

    LOL, F5 is awesome, I use it all the time. :D I don't know what I'd do without it. Congrats on getting those tickets. It's awesome how you and your father have a similar taste in music! C: Meeting your favorite singers can be difficult, especially if they're really famous. :c I'm sure those other fans exaggerated a bit. C;

    As for which boots you should get, I would go with the first pair. They look the most comfortable and they look likes boots you could wear anywhere, anytime. They look awesome without even being all fancy-like.

    Tiny note: My contest ends on the 24th. c:

  16. aww thank you =] you're too sweet

  17. Don't lose the camera again!
    I don't think it is possible to make eye contact with someone on stage because they are concentrated on other things than making eye contact, I think it takes energy to make eyecontact, but good luck anyway!

    I like the second and the third pair from the top, the plaid one is pretty cool as well

  18. Agreed. I wanted to do an illustration of a chicken (-cough- of course she would want to do that), but I didn't have time since it was already April 2nd. Yes, I have this little OCD of putting up a new layout every month.

    The statue is about a little over a foot tall. :DDD
    That's what chickens do to you.

    But now we don't know what exactly is wrong with his throat. ajdkasdhas =/

    ~

    A HUGEEE congrats on getting the tickets.
    I know of a way that you can make eye contact with them: inject lots of growth hormone. =)) No, don't actually do it.
    (....related to the fact that I'm a shortie)

    I'm stuck in between the second and fourth booths. But at least I narrowed it down a little. :D

  19. Haha congrats on getting the tickets!!! ^_^ I remember when MJ was gonna do his O2 concerts I really wanted a ticket, but I just gave up because I knew I'd never get one phaha. The tickets for what... 50 shows? Sold out in like two minutes o_O. Crazy.

    Have fun though ^_^

    Out of the options, I like the first one the most ^_^ Mainly because I don't really like wedges :/ Just heals. xP

  20. Hey lovely! Get the third boots, the heels are super easy to walk in and super super comfy. I have a pair with the same shape/size heel - http://www.pennangalan.co.uk/boots/FW84.php - and I've had them for literally years now. Mmmm... shoes. I am a platform/fetish shoe addict. It gets ridiculous sometimes! I haven't had any Demonias myself (quality isn't as good as the Fantasy Shoe boots that most of the designs are ripped off of, but the price is excellent - just not in the UK, because of import/blah blah blah) but they are pretty much the same designs. Have a look at New Rock too, they are BEYOND comfortable. I spend most of my shifts at work in a pair of 373 Neptunos or 373 M8 heels. My feet thank me for it at the end of the day.

    The Rocky Horror Show is a film and stage show, both equally fun and filled with joy. You absolutely have to make time to sit down and watch the film, and if you get a chance to see it live snatch it like a hungry shark or something. It's beyond fun, and you'll never forget it.

    Hope you're having a lovely Easter weekend! ♥

  21. i want the third boot, badty :(

  22. Aw, I love this layout, its adorable (: And your blog sounds just like my writing after a night of lack of sleep and too much coffee XD Oooh, boots. So many choices, so little cash. haha, that's my problem.

  23. Boots #1. But only because I'm a fan of staying short :3
    Tall boots are hot, but omfg being short <3

  24. Have fun at the Green Day concert love!

  25. Hello Mallory! :D

    This is my first time commenting on your site, so I'll make it a good one. O:<

    It's alright! I know some things tend to get in the way with schedules and whatnot; you're forgiven. <3 It's not that big of a deal anyways. I was actually just going to go ahead and comment you. XD

    Rawr, I was afraid that it would be cut off for some people, but then again, that's why I made the background transparent. .-. Haha maybe it's time for an upgrade? Get with the 21st century!

    Well MSN I would imagine is fairly simple, they just randomly pop-up out of nowhere -- "Hello! Can you help me with something?" -- most of the time I could care less, but I just say yes for the hell of it. Then again, if it were offline and someone randomly jumped in front of me, I would have nowhere to escape. O_O"

    Yeah, I decided to not sign into MSN today (it's 7:57PM and I haven't signed in once -- a record). It's working proficiently so far. ;3

    I noticed that I finished replying to all my comments in a breeze since people weren't bugging me every 5 seconds. XD I should do this more often. 8D

    Wow! Your procedure for making dolls sounds neck breaking. @.@ I wouldn't do all of that just to make one doll to be honest... haha.

    LOL good luck figuring out a username that begins with Q! I've personally never seen one (or maybe I haven't noticed). I don't even know that many words that start with Q... quilt? ... yeah, that's it.

    YAY! That's great that you got tickets (even though I just found out you were trying to buy them)!!! I'd imagine that those types of tickets tend to go fast.

    Haha when Mallory wants tickets, she gets them. XD That's so weird and crazy how one minute makes a difference. I wonder how fast you'd have to be to get FRONT row. o_O

    That would be pretty neat to make eye contact with them, though if there were pointing in my direction or whatever, I'd assume it was directed towards the person in front of me, or behind. Either that, or I must have been hallucinating.

    I would personally buy the first pair; it seems like it would match with pretty much anything after wards. The other ones have way too high of heels for me (I'd probably tip over). Though I love how the belt buckles are on the second pair -- such a hard decision!

  26. Aww, those "Emo Dolls" are absolutely adorable. *heart* I love "Flightless Angel" it gives me some photo ideas. I might use it as a photo name, if you don't mind.

    Congrats on the Green Day tickets! It's awesome to see your favorite bad in concert! I've been to some many concerts that I won 't even attempt to count them all. I've also met A LOT of bands including my favorite "30 Seconds To Mars", whom have a signing after every concert. I think Green day should do this, but for now I'm going to give you some tips on how to get them to look at you.

    - Wear bright colors! I had my hair very bright rainbow colors, and it always attracted the bands. I even got some compliments. People tend to wear dark color to concert so that odd ball that wears a bright color is easily seen.

    - Jump when people are swaying. At a Good Charlote concert I got really into the song "Hold On", and started dancing and jumping while others where dancing, the whole band looked at me!!!! I was in seats at least twenty rows back so that's saying something.

    - Scream in more of a squeal like tone.

    - Signs. It's hard to have a sing with pit tickets, but you could give it a try.

    Of course being as close as humanly possibly helps. Well, there's my suggestions. I hope they help.

    When it comes to the boots I'd say one or two. The last three have what i like to call unstable bottoms, which means the heel could easily fall off.

  27. heh thanks! I did miss blogging quite a lot!

    :O You haven't really heard much about Wicked!? Shame! Shame I say! haha just kidding, it would make sense to not notice it much if you don't have a particular interest in it ;P The storyline is pretty awesome though, I thought it was more interesting than Wizard of Oz (Wicked sort of explains what happens "before Dorothy dropped in" so if you like the Wizard of Oz I'm sure you'd like Wicked).

    YEYYY! *mexican wave* I'm so glad you got the tickets for the Green Day concert! You will have to let us know every detail about it! From the number of sweat drops Billy Joe excretes to the annoying brats who shove and kick you :P

    Though I'm hoping you'll fight back! LOLL. I can just picture you excessively pressing F5. I'm glad that paid off for you though, and you WILL receive eye contact! Otherwise you'll have to poke or throw an inflated beach ball at them to get their attention xD

    Hmm, I think I'd pick the first boot based on appearance, though you did say it was uncomfortable. The second and third one would give you a height growth, so if your short that would help :P I recommend choosing a black one as it's more flexible with colour theme variations, and you could also probably wear it more often as well. Good luck ;)

  28. i hate visiting a blog and only doing something like a return comment but i have so much to do and will be back for a proper return comment lol.

    but ive gotten both of your tweets. i know. it sucks.im talking with my host and im actually thinking about changing the site name so hopefully that goes through but thankyou for being so adament about it :) i really appreciate it a lot :D you're totally awesome :)

  29. I love the tarten boots!

  30. Congrats on the tickets! I'm sooooo jealous, I'd love to see Green Day again! They were amazing, such a good show.

    I made eye contact with Florence from Florence and the Machine and I was like whoo!!! Best experience ever. Well, best experience at a Florence and the Machine concert ever. I'd say if you get to the very front or a few people away, you have a good chance of eye contact. You should bring something to throw on stage! Every concert I go to, I'm like damnit why didn't I bring something to throw on stage!!! That will definitely get their attention. ;)

    For the boots, I'd go for the second or third pair. The first are the nicest I think, but they'd be uncomfortable if they're mens. The last two aren't as versatile because of the red and patterns. The plain black ones you could wear with anything, so you'd get your moneys worth. :)

  31. YAY YOU'RE GOING TO SEE GREEN DAY! I'M SO JEALOUS. :( I hope you have an amazing time, and I did the same F5 abuse when I was buying tickets to Fall Out Boy. :3
    For the boots: I like the first ones the best. Maybe because I'm not a huge fan of platforms - if you're going in a pit I'd stick to flatish shoes, because when I went to see Trivium this girl had huge huge HUGE boots on and she almost broke my toes D:
    But then there is the arguement of getting 'eyecontact' with the band. Hmm, then maybe either boot #2 or #4, they don't look too toe-crushingly big, and arne't exactly small either. :D

  32. Second pair.. definately.

  33. It was super nice of my mom to pay for half of the ukulele. :) My grandparents also helped out paying for it, so my whole family wanted me to make perty music LOL. :)

    There's a ukulele Youtube star? Dangit. I thought I could fill that role. :P But, hey, I got a lot of work to do still, so maybe by the time I actually get good that Youtube star will have grown up and had kids already? Haha.

    OH CRAP, LOL, I didn't mean to type out "Twinkle Twinkle LITTER Star" I meant "LIttle". xD I'm way too lazy to fix it, so hopefully you'll be the only one who notices. :P That'd be funny if there was some kind of joke involved in that. Hmm. I probably would've mentioned it in the post, though, LOL.

    No, no, no. I added the layout later after I posted the post, so the layout you were looking at, IS the new one! Haha. You like it? :3 The picture in the background is a picture of the flowers in my backyard. They're so pretty, they bloom all year round.

    OH. MY. GOODNESS. YOU'RE SEEING GREEN DAY?! I am freakin' jealous, Mallory. Freakin' jealous. And I think it's quite cute that your dad and you both share the same love for Green Day. xD I had to BEG my mom to take me to that Avril Lavigne concert when I was nine. It was so cute, I left like, two hours before it ended because I got tired. AWW. x3

    As for the boots, I think you should get the second pair. They're in your price range, they're awesomely tall, and I personally like the overall look on those. You will look smokin' hot, babe! :D
