Only a small scattering of updates today, I'm afraid! ;_;
One new addition to Stupid Signage. It's not the funniest thing in the world, I'll admit that, but it did make me grin like Cheshire cat when I first spotted it ... So I felt it deserved an upload. ^^;
I added quite a few new quotes to the Family's Funny Quotes page, yet again! I know, I know, I keep adding quotes onto that page every week --- But hey, I can't help it that we're all irresistibly hilarious! o_o I tacked the new quotes onto the end of the page, as usual.
The Fansigns page was updated with one new awesome filled sign, courtesy of my good friend Deth. *^^* Many thank yous, m'dear!
I added one new Affie to the Affiliates page --- Thanks for asking to exchange links, Tom! n_n W00tsicles.
And lastly, I uploaded one new piece to the Poems page. Have a read and see what you think! Personally, I love it --- Mostly because of the way I structured it, by repeating the last word of the previous line as the first word of the line below it. I also used a twice repeated pattern of letters, ((S, E, D, M,)) For the first letter of each line's second word ... Which sounds kinda confusing when I explain it, but it's actually pretty easy to spot after you read it! ((However, if you're still not sure WTF I'm on about after reading it, then click here for a pictorial explanation.)) It's called Élan Vital, which means one's 'life force'. The poem as a whole is simple yet rather genius, I think. ^u^ Go on and have a read!
Speaking of simple yet genius, you guys have to check out these new bracelets I just made! Go ahead and click the thumbnail below for a closer look --- Then I'll explain how I made them! ^w^

Okay, do you know why they look familiar now ...? Because they were once toothbrushes! O_O; Effin' genius, right?! I love the fuck outta these gorgeous things, I really do. @_@ And they're fun to make, too! How about you guys, d'you fancy them at all ...?
If so, does anyone think they'd sell on Etsy or eBay, ((Or even right here on mallorymaloney.com,)) If I had a wider range of colours ...? I'm thinking around $5.00 for each bracelet, with worldwide shipping included in that five bucks ... Ooh, and then I could even do deals, like 'three bracelets for $10.00'! O_O

Topic? 'Swine flu', also known as 'H1N1', also known as 'Influenza A', also known as 'the biggest load of bullshit I've heard in quite awhile'.
It's simply the media blowing everything out of proportion, as usual. For example, their statistics? They can shove their statistics up their puckered assholes for all I care --- Up to five hundred thousand people die each year worldwide from the 'regular flu', but no one's fuckin' mentioning that ... Why? Because Hell forbid honesty, o' course.
Yet they start causing mass hysteria with their 'Phase Five' bullshit, flipping the fuck out and screaming 'OMGZ!!!1 This is, lyke, a National Emergency, you guise!!!1' just because a couple hundred people croaked in Mexico exclusively?
Can I get an actual what the fuck, here?
For the rest of the world, the only people getting sick to death of the 'swine flu' are people like me --- People who are simply sick to death of hearing about it.

Today my boyfriend went to the doctor, and while he was sitting in the waiting room this old lady was saying how we wouldn't get the Swine flu here cause it's to cold and the bugs won't come here. Swine flu? Does anyone remember bird flu? That was going to wipe out the entire human race too. How many people did that kill in my country (i.e. the UK)? Um, let me think.. Three. The toothbrush bracelets are awesome. I don't know how hard they were to make but they'd look cute as rings to. i think once they caught on I think they'd sell on ebay or etsy.
As for the swine flu... I have been irritated as well about all the hype. Sure it's killed people... but its mainly the really young or really old, or those with shitty immune systems. No need to scare the crap over (gullible) people for nothing.

I think the reason why there is so much hype on swine flu is because even though millions of people die from the regular flu as well, there is a vaccine for that, swine flu doesn't have a vaccine yet.
