Drawings
Features: Billie Joe Armstrong of the band Green Day.
Finished Date: 19 August 2009.
Materials Used: White computer paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.
About: After attending the Green Day concert in Hamilton, Ontario, on 16 July 2009, I had a massive urge to drawing something Green Day related, an urge which I absolutely could not ignore ... So I went about thinking up a specific idea. The first idea that came to my mind --- Big surprise --- Was an image of Billie Joe with Blue, ((His Fernandes Stratocaster guitar,)) Slung over one shoulder, so I went with it. In the end, I think my mental image translated quite nicely onto paper, don't you? ^_~ I say hey oh!Features: My insanely adorable friend Kayleigh.
Finished Date: 11 May 2009.
Materials Used: White computer paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.
About: When I first saw this photograph displayed on my friend Kayleigh's blog, I instantly thought, 'I must draw an anime version of this photo!' And voilà ... An explosion of vibrantly coloured, wide eyed cuteness appeared on my paper! ^o^ My only gripe is that I was unable to outdo --- Or even match --- The adorability of the original. ;_; But then again, even the most skilled artist in the world would be unable to accomplish such an impossible feat, so I suppose I can't feel too badly. ^u^Features: Myself as an anime character!
Finished Date: Sometime November 2007.
Materials Used: White computer paper, pencils, erasers, Crayola pencil crayons, and black Crayola markers.
About: I drew this picture specifically for Version Thirty Six of mallorymaloney.com, and as you already know, it's myself in anime form! ^^; It was fairly easy to design the outfit/hairstyle, as all I had to do was look in the mirror --- But the actual drawing procedure took forever! As it was going to be part of a layout, it had to be more 'perfect' than a usual drawing, so I went about the whole thing a lot differently than usual. Firstly, I did a shitty PhotoShop mock up, using a picture of Dawn from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl as a base. Then, I printed out the edited image of Dawn, and did a sketch with her as a reference. Then, I scanned the sketch and edited it a bit in PhotoShop, to fix the placement of the eyes and several other things. Next I printed out the PhotoShopped version in super black/white contrast, and went over the lines with a black marker heavily, designing the outfit and hair. Finally, I traced that marker sketch with a fresh piece of paper, and outlined all the details with another, finer marker. ((This took about five or six tries, since I kept fucking up with the marker.)) At this point, I had a perfect colouring book outline of myself completed. I then coloured it in with Crayola pencil crayons, scanned it once more, fiddled around with it in PhotoShop --- Then realised I'd forgotten to draw in the fishnet patterns and the accessories! x_x; I drew those in with the black marker, scanned it yet again, and then it was fairly easy from there. ((Normally I just carefully sketch out something free hand, colour it in with pencil crayons, and I'm done. @_@)) Whew! *_*;Features: A gothish girl crying tears of blood.
Finished Date: 19 October 2007.
Materials Used: White computer paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.
About: I saw someone's avatar on a random forum, and it depicted a girl wearing a long black dress, and instead of limbs, she had black blood flowing down to the floor, in the shape of arms/legs. Completely inspired, I attempted to draw something similar --- And as always when I try to imitate art, my own finished creation looked nothing like the original, haha! But that's alright, because I really like my own piece. ^_^;Features: A tree. A spooky noose induced tree.
Finished Date: 16 May 2007.
Materials Used: 'Scrapbook' off white paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.
About: This drawing was also an assignment for my art class ... The focus was on trees, obviously. ^u^; While my tree doesn't look the most realistic, I really like the shading --- And of course, the creepy noose! It totally makes the tree say 'Mallory drew me!', which is always a bonus. ^x^Features: A rockinghorse shoe!
Finished Date: 15 May 2007.
Materials Used: 'Scrapbook' off white paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.
About: This was an assignment for my art class ... We were supposed to draw the shoes we were wearing at the time, but I had on a pair of boring, ((And difficult to draw,)) Pair of Converses. So, out of laziness passing off as originality, I drew a rockinghorse shoe from memory! ^u^ Pretty accurate, if I do say so myself! ((And in case you're not familiar with them, they're very popular in Japanese street fashion, particularly with Gothic Lolita outfits. ^^))Features: A tiny girl trapped under a glass by a giant hand.

Materials Used: White computer paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.

About: Honestly, I have no idea WTF this drawing's all about! It's pretty random, and it kinda drew itself as I went along ... It's simple but really busy at the same time, and it's sorta happy but sorta sad at the same time as well ... At any rate, I like it. ^^;Features: Myself.
Finished Date: 28 October 2006.
Materials Used: White((ish)) computer paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.
About: I wanted to draw a realistic kinda picture of myself, and it turned out okay! Still has a sorta anime look to it, but oh well. ^^; I think it looks pretty much just like me, but my family doesn't agree. >_> Jerks. Anyway ... I guess you could call this a 'self portrait'. The only thing wrong with it, is the sorta blue hued computer paper I used --- It looks white in real life, but it doesn't scan well. @_@;Features: Gerard Way.
Finished Date: 3 October 2006.
Materials Used: White computer paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.
About: I was sketching a page full of random doodles, and I drew a face, and then added hair, and eyes and whatnot, and then I realised it looked almost exactly like Gerard Way from the band My Chemical Romance! After I coloured it in, it kinda resembled Gerard less, but whatever. It's a pretty sweet drawing anyway. ^^Features: A ventriloquist dummy kinda chick.
Finished Date: 2 September 2006.
Materials Used: White computer paper, pencils, erasers, and Crayola pencil crayons.
About: I wanted to draw a stick thin anime type girl wearing rocked up clothing, so I drew one. And then I made her mouth really wide, sort of like a ventriloquist dummy --- And then I noticed I made one of her eyes bigger than the other, so in the end it all worked out. What a doll! ((A creepy doll, but a doll nonetheless.))Features: A random punk rock girl.
