PhotoShop Creations

These are the various and fairly random images I have created with the help of PhotoShop. ^_^ Click on the thumbnails to view actual size, and remember ... Please don't take anything from this page without my explicit permission ahead of time! Thanks for understanding. ^^;

Features: Me, Mallory.

Finished Date: 7 January 2010.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0.

About: I needed a new default image for all the various social networking sites/services I'm a member of, ((Primarily Twitter, YouTube, and WLM,)) And since I had just been reading an issue of the Chibi Vampire manga series, I was inspired to create something a little, shall we say ... Fangtastic! ((And yes, I did just make a vampire pun. Don't like it? Bite me. =_= Or I'll bite you, whilst making yet another vampire pun.)) Speaking of fangs, the ones featured in this PhotoShop Creation are actually real --- Real meaning they weren't created with PhotoShop, that is! ^_~ They're actually a pair of custom fit fangs I purchased from http://www.vampfangs.com/. My icy blue eyes, on the other hand, were created with PhotoShop, as was the pallid colour of my skin, and the contrasting jet black backdrop.

Features: Justin Long.

Finished Date: 30 September 2008.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, Microsoft Paint.

About: I made this one simply out of boredom, as well, and I must say ... I find the end result rather amazing! Justin with a pair of feathery wings just works --- Probably a sign that he's some sort of angel in real life. ^_~ Wouldn't surprise me, 'cause he's a total sweetheart!

Features: Justin Long.

Finished Date: 25 September 2008.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, Microsoft Paint.

About: I created this out of pure boredom and insomnia one night ... And yet, when I posted it the next morning on Justin Long's official forums, at http://www.justinlong.net/, simply to share with fellow fans, I was pleasantly shocked --- When the administrator/webmaster/celebrity publicist Wil contacted me about it, asking my permission to display it on the front page of Justin's official site! When I, flattered and surprised as hell, told Wil of course, he contacted me once again, telling me that Justin Long himself had said, 'Tell Mallory thank you for making me look good and for all her support.' O_O; I know, right?! I was on cloud nine thousand for approximately three weeks, and whenever I think back on it, I still get this jolt of disbelief, like, 'Okay, Justin Long so did not thank me for making him look good.' LOL, just wow, I know. I know!

Features: Me, Mallory.

Finished Date: 28 March 2008.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, and Microsoft Paint.

About: I was really bored, late one night, ((Or early morning, if you will,)) And I very suddenly decided I wanted to personate David, the main character in the original Saw short film. ^^; Why? Because David one hundred percent awesome, that's why! o_o Okay, but seriously, I love this character to death ... If you watch the short film, ((Which you can do by clicking here,)) You'll understand why. He seems really careless and bad ass at first, but then you realise underneath, he's actually pretty fragile. I love these kinds of characters! 'Yeah, well; Living's overrated' was one of David's lines in the short --- From the scene I duplicated, which you can view a screenshot of. ^x^; My version is almost identical, if I do say so myself! I used a rolled up piece of paper as a prop for the cigarette, and the wonders of PhotoShop to make it seem more realistic. I also used PhotoShop for my puzzle piece shaped earring --- A clever, last minute idea I came up with, haha. >w< ((If you're familiar with the full length Saw movies, you'll understand the significance of puzzle pieces! ^_~))

Features: Me, Mallory ... Merged with actress Shawnee Smith!

Finished Date: 9 March 2008.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0.

About: This is awesome defined, man! I found a screenshot from the first Saw movie --- Of the character Amanda, ((As portrayed by Shawnee Smith,)) With the head splitter trap on --- And decided on a whim to PhotoShop in my own features over hers! The end result? Creepy cool! ^w^

Features: A random 'stock image' girl.

Finished Date: 29 March 2007.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, Microsoft Paint.

About: I made this one for yet another 'add effects' graphic contest, at http://www.embraceme.us/ ... Which, you got it, no longer exists ... And again, I won first place, LOL! *_*

Features: A random 'stock image' couple.

Finished Date: 16 January 2007.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0.

About: I made this for an 'add effects and a quote related to love' graphic contest at http://www.embraceme.us/candycontests/, ((Which no longer exists,)) And apparently it was pretty damn good ... 'Cause I won first place! O_O; ((Must've been the über emo quote --- So full of irresistible sorrow and heartache! T_T))

Features: Me, Mallory.

Finished Date: 19 December 2006.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, Microsoft Paint.

About: This one's really cool, and it features lyrics from one of my favourite songs by Billy Talent; Fallen Leaves. Which is probably the only reason why it's so cool ... Aw, crap.

Features: Me, Mallory.

Finished Date: 16 December 2006.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0.

About: Not much to say about this one ... I was just messing around in ol' PhotoShop and came up with this emotastic creation!

Features: A random 'stock image' girl.

Finished Date: 31 October 2006.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, Microsoft Paint.

About: I created this one for an 'add effects' graphic contest, at http://www.imaginariumcontests.net/ --- Which unfortunately no long exists --- And I won the second place prize! ^^

Features: Billie Joe Armstrong.

Finished Date: 12 September 2006.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0.

About: I made this as a header image for a message board of mine, http://www.psychoticmb.com/... Which unfortunately had a very short lifespan, ((From 12 September 2006, until 3 November 2006,)) Due to lack of interest on my part. But while I lost the love for my message board, I never lost an ounce of love for this image I created --- I still adore the way I desaturated the photographs, upped the contrast, and then placed a soft visual effect over the whole thing ... It gives the whole image an almost ethereal feel! ^^

Features: Amy Lee.

Finished Date: 13 February 2006.

Programs Used: ArcSoft PhotoImpression 4, Adobe Photoshop 7.0.

About: I created this one for http://www.rejectmb.com/ as well! I remember board members thinking it was hilarious, ((Yet typical,)) That I paired Amy Lee of Evanescence, with Green Day's Boulevard Of Broken Dreams lyrics. ^x^ Haha!

Features: Billie Joe Armstrong.

Finished Date: 10 February 2006.

Programs Used: ArcSoft PhotoImpression 4, Microsoft Paint, and Adobe Photoshop 7.0.

About: I created this for a message board that no longer exists, http://www.rejectmb.com/, which I was an administrator of at the time. ^^; I was trying to go for a look that was 'trendy' at the time --- Strange hues, paint splatters, and tiny fragments of repeating images. I'm not sure if I succeeded in being 'trendy' or not, but I liked the outcome, anyway. Besides, you can't go wrong with Billie Joe, LOL!

Features: A chaos of carefully chosen images.

Finished Date: 19 July 2005.

Program((s)) Used: Adobe PhotoShop 7.0 for the spattering of blood, ((Which are brushes from here,)) And for converting it from a BMP to a JPG, ArcSoft PhotoImpression 4 to blend the images, Microsoft Image Composer 1.5 for the text, and Microsoft Paint for the border.

About: I was sort of going to make this for a layout, but then I decided it would just be a collage. It's pretty chaotic and random. I love it.
