I took these photos on 23 May 2010, when a young tomcat with a decidedly blonde cast to his fur sauntered into my backyard. At first he seemed rather hostile --- He hissed, bared his fangs, yowled under his breath, and even tried to claw my hand a few times --- But after awhile, he warmed right up to me, and allowed me to pet and photograph him. He stuck around for nearly a week after this, waiting and meowing at my back door every morning to be petted ... Until one morning, that is, when he simply didn't show up at all. T_T; I shouldn't have been surprised, though --- That's the way it always is with cats, it seems!
