I took these photographs on the afternoon of 18 April 2010, to visually immortalise the massive maple tree in front of my house. Why would I want to visually immortalise something that looks like it's doing fine immortalizing itself, I hear you ask ...? Because the city deemed the tree a hazard and had it slated for amputation, that's why. Although it appears strong and healthy on the surface, it's been rotting inside for years --- Meaning that it could cause massive destruction to everything around it if it were to fall. While I understand that leaving it be isn't a logical option, I'm still pretty upset it has to be removed, so this page shall serve as a sort of virtual remembrance.
